nixtress's Diaryland Diary

not enough time and too much on the brain

Today was field trip day for Ry's class. We got to walk from the school to the Senior Citizen Center. It was a gorgeous day to do so. Absolutely beautiful, sunny and warm and lovely. The kids were cuter than cute, singing their little heads off, mainly off-key. I had to bribe Ry into doing the little hand motions that went with some of the music (he hates doing those because he says he feels stupid). I told him if he at least tried, I'd give him a Kinder-Egg. I think he rolled his eyes the entire time but he did 'em.

And tomorrow the LyingWeathermen are calling for snow and lots of it. Somewhere in the vicinity of 8 inches. Typical--we always have one good snowfall in March.

Ryan took his reading comprehension tests today, something called a Lexus (?) and his score was 291. Apparently, that's pretty damn good. Conferences are next Monday so it'll be interesting to find out what exactly that means. Trevor is doing much better, which makes me happy as well.

And on that note, I have to run. Tonight is Scouts and we need to get homework and dinner done. Have a great evening, all.

Happy Monday.
