A quickie

Alas, the rain did not stop yesterday and so we resorted to buying our pumpkins from a local farmer's market. Not quite the fun experience it was supposed to be but we have our gourds and that's what counts. Logan has finally gone home and things are quieting down. I'd forgotten how rambunctious he can be and how the rules at his house differ so much from the ones at our home. For the most part, the stay went over without a hitch. There was one incident involving physical scrapping but otherwise, not a bad visit. I cut up some French bread and let them help make pizzas. Trevor layered on the pepperoni worse than an old house's wallpaper.
I also warmed some cider with cinnamon sticks and cloves...yum. Good stuff.
In just a few (once the Cupcake Challenge is done on the Food Network) I'm going to begin the Great Pumpkin Carvathon. I figure by the time we get them cut open, scooped and then faced, it should be time to take showers and ready dinner. Back to our routine.
