New feet

Yay! My van now has fresh tires on it, ready for all the snow that Winter is going to toss at me. We got a little snow last night, not enough to really cover or coat anything. Throughout today it continued to spit flurries at us.
The boys are ready for snow. They want tons and tons of snow, RIGHT NOW. I can't say that I'm ready for all of that, yet, but at least I know I can safely drive from point A to point B without worries of slipping off the road or sliding into another vehicle because my tires are bald. Reassurance is a wonderful thing.

Tomorrow is Friday, aka Harry Potter Movie #4 release day. Trev and Ry also have to help decorate the Cub Scout float for the holiday parade on Saturday. They're sure they'll be local celebrities, that all their friends will see them and think they're stars. Cracks me up.
I am a People Magazine addict. Stupidly, I buy this mag and read it cover to cover (minus the schmoozy fashion pages) and vicariously live the lives of celebrity. Not the same as riding a float in a parade, certainly, but still...

Ah well. I'm off to bed. Chilly and ready to snuggle under my comforter.
