Happy boys and Promiscuous girls

Trevor's game tonight was an important one. If they won, it put them back into second place in the league (which puts them one step closer to tournaments). If they lost, it dropped them to fourth and out of the run for tournaments.
It was their second game this week, to be followed by a third on Thursday. There are only 2 more games after that.
Between the coaches and the boys, they all really wanted to win tonight. And they scrapped for it---stolen bases, slides into home plate, disappointing strike-outs at bat...
and they won.
I've never seen boys jump so high or cheer so loudly, I don't think.
They were all so excited.
I talked with the head coach last night, thanked him for his patience with Trev. It means alot to me to see Trev enjoying baseball as much as he is. I just wanted to voice that to the coach.
Thursday night, after the ballgame, the gentleman who sponsored Trevor's team is paying for all the boys to eat at Wendy's, which I thought was a nice gesture.
I'm so glad this has been a good experience for Trevor.

Ryan has a game on Wednesday, one he's very much looking forward to. He's really stepping up as a good hitter, just needs to work on his fielding skills. He's loving baseball this year, too.
Who says you have to be a soccer mom? I'm a baseball mom, instead.

That new Nelly Furtado song, Promiscuous, has been stuck in my head something fierce. Doesn't help, then, to hear that stupid commercial it's playing in, either.
Happy Tuesday.
