Gibberish all the way around

Just a quick mention---the person who Googled me and had me a little spooked was nice enough to de-spook me. Many thanks for that!

Today has been fairly uneventful. The nurse came for her weekly visit with Grams, just after she'd taken communion. I learned more than I'd ever wanted to know about bedsores, the causes and also the treatment of them. Grams also has a fever today, 101.7! She's showing no outward signs of infection and so has us a little confounded as to where it's coming from. (I know what causes fevers~it's just figuring out what illness is there)

It was a good and a bad morning both with her as she was talking gibberish, making it funny but also difficult on the communication level. We managed fine, with lots of laughter and good humor. She got a little tiffed at me for making her eat this morning, saying she couldn't eat without a shovel and that there were skates in the dishwasher. Mmmhmm, Grams. You betcha!

I'm still trying to figure out why my aunt has me coming as she's there the entire time as well. I think perhaps it's just to afford her the OPTION to leave if she wants. Makes sense, I guess.

I have a meeting this afternoon to go over my son's IEP at school and therefore need to cut this short. I have a house to pick up and other preparations.
