Sexy

That was quite some protest in New York this afternoon. Regardless of political affiliation, I think it was impressive. Passion is never a bad thing.

There's something sexy about wet hair. I love the feel of it after it's been combed, sliding over my fingers, cool and slick. Sex after a shower is nice too. Skin still flushed from the heat of the water, every single inch of skin squeaky clean, waiting.

Yum.

Know what else is sexy? Waking up with someone you trust ultimately, day after day. Being rock-steady is sexy. Making promises to do the right thing (and following through) even when you're yearning to do the opposite is sexy. Standing up for the underdog is sexy.

There are other sexy things, obviously sexy things like the small of a back and the curve of a shoulder, laughter under the covers and soft kisses placed on the nape of a neck, shared bubble baths and sleepy Sunday mornings spent in bed.

I think I kind of like finding the hidden ones best.

Sweetest dreams. Tomorrow begins yet another week, another blank slate waiting to be filled with other people's agendas.
